Workplace
Study House IX
Copenhagen, Denmark2025
Concept studies, visualised with AI. None of these rooms has been built.
Workspace for a small design practice that wanted the opposite of an open-plan office: focus, calm, and a room that rewards staying late.
Concept
Acoustic mass and soft separation replace the usual glass and noise. The plan is a quiet enfilade of rooms that each hold a single way of working.
Material
Wool felt, pale ash, blackened steel, and a wall of books that doubles as the building's thermal and acoustic heart.
